Craft Tutor Wanted

PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL

We are looking for an experienced part-time Craft Tutor. The successful candidate is responsible for providing Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 2 Craft module M2A19, with set learning outcomes that need to be adhered to. The Craft module is taught through theatre and can encompass prop making, masks and lighting.

 

We name our module THEATRE CRAFT and is QQI L2 Craft M2A19

Essential:

  • Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of teaching a range of craft techniques
  • Proven track record of working in an educational setting.
  • Good knowledge of QQI policies, procedures and administration.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with people with an intellectual disability.
  • Experience in teaching QQI modules.
  • Proven track record of having worked as a professional artist.

Teaching Hours:       

  • 4 hours contact hours per week.
  • Total of 72 contact hours for QQI Level 2 Craft Module
