We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Part-time Drama Tutor to join the Performing Arts School team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 2 or QQI Level 3 Drama module.

 

Candidate Specification in brief: 

Essential:

  • Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of teaching acting techniques.
  • Proven track record of working in an educational setting.
  • Good knowledge of QQI policies, procedures and administration.

Desirable:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with people with an intellectual disability.
  • Minimum of 3 years ‘ experience in teaching QQI modules.
  • Directing skills for QQI Level 3 Drama.
  • Proven track record of having worked as a professional theatre artist.

Teaching Hours:       

  • 4 hours contact hours per week.
  • Total of 72 contact hours for QQI Level 2 Drama Module and/or 
  • Total of 88 contact hours for QQI Level 3 Drama Module
