JOB FAIRY – Caretaker

General Caretaking and Maintenance of Blue Teapot premises. 

We’re looking for a diligent, hard-working and committed person to join our team in an important support role, as a Caretaker/General Maintenance worker, with supervisory responsibilities.

The post holder should be at least 21 years old and eligible to participate on the Community Employment Programme and willing to undergo various training, as this is a career developmental role.

Duties will include the upkeep of the kitchen, workshop rooms, bathrooms, rehearsal room and storage areas alongside the general maintenance of the internal and external facilities.  Welcoming and assisting external companies and facilitators with their technical needs, liaising with staff to ensure planned activities are delivered while adhering to the Blue Teapots Health and Safety Standards.  Welcoming Blue Teapot’s actors each day and supervising break times, lunch times and end of day. A Health and Safety in the Workplace training course will be provided.
