NEW PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

We have two very exciting new positions available in our company under the Pobal’s WorkAbility: Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme.

ABOUT WORKABILITY

Pobal’s WorkAbility: Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme is a new programme, co-funded by the EU Employment, Inclusion, Skills, and Training Programme (EIST) 2021-2027 and the Department of Social Protection (DSP). The Programme aims to support people with disabilities aged 16 and over who are currently not work ready and/or are distant from the labour market in gaining access to employment/self-employment.

Both roles on offer are part-time and linked to a special purpose 5 year contract, subject to continual WorkAbility 5 year project funding. Both post holders will work closely with the  theatre ensemble and Performing Arts School management teams and dedicated WorkAbility Project Manager. This is a great opportunity to be a key support to a leading Irish arts & disability organisation based in Galway City.

Here are brief descriptions of the primary role focus:

ENSEMBLE WORKABILITY COACH (4 days per week) 

Work with Ensemble Coordinator and WorkAbility Project Manager in achieving strategic progressions aims of Blue Teapot’s actors.

Support the Artistic Director in maintaining the artistic integrity of overall programme delivery.

Work with WorkAbility Project Manager to develop the Ensemble WorkAbility programme based on the actors’ agreed progression plan.

Consult with workshop tutors regarding actor’s skill, abilities and their progression plans.

 

PAS WORKABILITY COACH (1 day per week)

Work with Performing Arts School (PAS) team and WorkAbility Project Manager in achieving the strategic progressions aims of Blue Teapot Performing Arts School

Ensure programme maintains the highest of standards as independently verified by QQI in Blue Teapot’s QQI Quality Assurance policy.

Provide one to one support to students with development and review of individual progression plan.

Work with the WorkAbility Project Manager on the development of PAS WorkAbility programme, based on students agreed progression plans.
