Join us for Culture Night 2023

Come and join us for national Culture Night 2023. We are opening our Theatre and Performing Arts School doors Friday 22nd September from 8pm – 9.30pm, welcoming the public to our two venues.  At Blue Teapot Theatre, Munster Avenue, Galway we have two screenings of Prophecy, a Blue Teapot documentary that follows the encounter of  European artists from Zone Poème (France) with actors from Blue Teapot, Compagnie de l’Oiseau-Mouche (France), and Teatr 21 (Poland) as they work and live together for one week on Inis Oírr –  investigating the renowned French dramatist Antonin Artaud’s time on the Aran Islands in 1937.

Performing Arts School  – Exhibition of Works

8pm – 9pm

An exhibition of Performing Arts School students’ QQI portfolio of works will be on display over at Parkhead, Munster Avenue,  directly across the road from the main theatre. Come and view model boxes, puppets and an after dark, shadow puppet projection, before or after visiting screenings of Prophecy in the theatre.
